Happy Fourth!

Amazingly, despite the heat and humidity that we are experiencing here in Maine today (and for several days to come) I have the energy to move! I’m off to a traditional 4th of July BBQ at the usual friends’ house for the afternoon and then I hope to experience some stellar fireworks later this evening! I saw some last night from the top of Point Lookout in Northport while shooting a wedding there and it was pretty incredible (although they were very small) to see three (3!) different locations’ fireworks going off almost simultaneously – in Camden and on two islands nearby! What a treat! Tonight, I expect we will sit on Memorial Bridge in Augusta and watch them as they light up the sky – directly in front of us A totally different experience altogether!
