What a  great time! I never know what to expect at each event that I cover – although similar in the concept (rehearsal dinner, wedding, etc) no two are ever the same! The day started off (on August 6) as a warm, sunny day in the 80’s and by the time I arrived at the rehearsal dinner the temperature had dropped over 12 degrees in less than an hour – and the wind was howling like crazy!!  The Lake was choppy and the table cloths were blowing everywhere but that didn’t stop the Lobster Bake that was planned! The food smelled fantastic, the music was a hit (especially for a certain 4-year-old who followed the beat long after the sun set!) and love was everywhere! Erika and Dane danced on the dock at sunset and honored their bridal party with gifts of thanks for being a part of their special day. It was a great way to set the tone for the day that followed….
